Would you recommend I attack the rearguards with my vanguard if they are being too troublesome? He has no beast tamers in his deck, and he's got rainbow trigs. If he's running Alice, he's also going to want his counterblasts, so his guarding may be a bit fickle. Keep at least 2 strong columns as opposed to 3 weak ones. As a Pale Moon guy, I can definitely tell you that we are easily exploitable on the defensive side. Generally Pale Moon decks have to ride a 6k G1 and an 8k G2, and lastly we WILL ride a 10k g2. Does he run stands or criticals? This is key to know I he's playing anywhere remotely close to how he should be, he's relying on his rearguards. Then just hope our glass house holds until we can put up a plastic tent.īut yeah, Crimsons, MIDNIGHT INVADERS and basically anything in the front row. Essentially we are a glass house, who throws a stone or two so that we can for some reason start a fight with you. What about trigger lineup? Do I use 8 crit, to get the most before my units die, or do I go with 8 stand, to keep them alive and get in as many hits before they are retired? Maybe 6 crit 6 stand? I'm thinking crit, since many cards can make the stands pointless (Leo pald, stamp sea otter) If you also used Coiling Duckbill on that Hammsuke, it's a whopping +2. You should either be not retiring at all through use of Sea Otter, retiring and resurrecting with Leo-Pald, retiring and replacing with Hammsuke (second best after the following), or, ideally, retiring Hammsuke, grabbing another one of him from your deck with his effect, and then resurrecting him with Leo-Pald for +1. You should never actually take the -1 with Great Nature. The only other acceptable target is anything you're powering up when you have Leo-Pald's Limit Break in play. With Coiling Duckbill, you dump its effect onto Hammsuke, obviously.

With Compass Lion, you target an already powered-up Hammsuke for the effect, or a Stamp Sea Otter. If I find Compass Lion totally consistent, I may have to run four. Hated to do that since they're so cute, but I definitely couldn't reduce the number of Pencil Knight, Hammsuke (4), let alone Binoculus Tiger (3). My other current experimental card is Compass Lion, which I traded out two of my Geograph Giants for. If you can't, better hope you have a Stamp Sea Otter or Leo-Pald Limit Break! You dump your powerup and kill effects on them when you can.

You want four Pencil Squire, Hammsuke and four Pencil Knight, Hammsuke. If you aren't using eight Hammsuke, you're doing it wrong. My deck revolves mainly around Hammsuke, and honestly, that's the way to go. I currently have him swapped out for Coiling Duckbill to try him out. Monoculus indeed doesn't ever have to go above two. I run three Leo-Pald and a Lox, with the Lox serving as a backup or closer. You need at least four bosses, so I would most recommend three more Leo-Pald.
VANGUARD PALE MOON VS FULL
Wow, i used a lot of non-english and full stops in that comment.

I would say paying at least $10 to $15 for a card is a little too much. I might make a full on Pale Moon deck though, since that seems to be the strongest out of my current decks. I honestly cannot find a good clan that is cheap, I like, and is actually good. The Pale Moon player has a basic repeat of my deck, but he is super into pale moons. The people at my locals (as you know, there are only 6) have decks similar to mine. My decks are better, but still all second tier and/or incomplete. It's no ill reflection on you that you don't have good decks. I hope I haven't offended you, as that's not my intent.
VANGUARD PALE MOON VS TRIAL
Two boxes won't make you anything playable, trial decks aren't playable, and Ergodiel is the worst Angel Feather build (which sucks, because it's what I use I'm going to change to Kiriel when I get the chance, and then either get the Crimson Wings or wait for the archetype).
